The Group THE VOYAGERS was born on in june 90. At this time the crew
was only composed by 3 members.
Early in July we decided to realise our first demo. This demo had to
be composed by 4 screens, but it was a hot summer (we couldn't go
outside) so we have made 8 screens in asm. This demo was called HOBBY
ONE,and was finished in september. At this time, we couldn't know that
the demo-making virus would have contamined us !!
Until March 91, nothing changed in the crew...We decided to pawn new
members:
- RESCATOR (it's me!!! I won't list my activity list, it would be too
long !!)
- LCC (the main coder, who progressed very fastly in ASM, he is passing
all his night and days searching for new techniques and he's working on
a nice game)
- NINJA ONE (the 1st who joined us, coder in GFA !! but he's most of all
a musician and the king of digits)
- DIRWIE (coder, the specialist in 3D, he always has problems with his
prehistorical computers.)
- DUNS (graphist who progressed a lot with the ultimate ripper!! But
he is really talentuous. He try to code in asm too ...)
- STEPH (graphist, specialist in GFA punches (in ST Mag))
- ORK (graphist specialist in logos and fonts)
- MAD JASON (graphist who works on the game with LCC)
- BEAST (the younger graphist, who is progressing day after day)
At the TRANSII, a nice coding party, while we were coding a screen for
the demo,we met the group Art of code, and we decided to do an alliance
with them, a new crew was born : ENIGMA
ART OF CODE is composed of:
- DOODAH (well known on amstrad under the name of FEFESSE. He is the
craziest coder of the crew, and the best one, he can do everything)
- BUG BUSTER (coder)
- INFERNAL CODER and PHILIP (coders and brothers, they have an old ST with
an external drive and a giant TV)
- POP SATORI (coder and specialist of DMA)
- FRANZ (the only graphist on ST who don't own any computer, but he is
very good)
- EQUALIZER (he made the wonderfull musax of our 1st screen in the TRANS II
Demo)
Now you know all the members, so I' m going to tell you our projects:
We are going to do many games. The first one, nearly finished, will be on
AMSTRAD!! It's an arcade game with a sequency of fullscreen and for the
first time a soundtracker misic on amstrad and some musics from LAP during
the game.The game of the century on AMSTRAD realised by DOODAH and friends.
The second one is on ST, realised by LCC, with gfx by MAD JASON. It's an
arcade game.
The 3rd one was just began by BUG BUSTER and it's a car race.
All that explain the little delay for our other big project that was
defcided during our first convention (on the 20th of july 91) : it's called
the SKELETON DEMO.
This demo will contain about 10 very different screens, and some classical
screens. Ther will be new soundtracker routs, developed by Doodah, and it
will allowed us to have half of the screens with a snd trk music, on STf
and STe.
An animated intro, realised by BUG BUSTER, will annonce the demo. She will
show you the style of the demo.
The main menu was develloped more than 6 months ago by Doodah and Krapulax of
Artis magia. There will be a mini game realised by Doodah.
There will only be one guest screen realised by REFLECTORS.
For the moment only three screens are finished, and many are not yet
finished, but we are going to work a lot to finish it on time, coz this
demo have to be finished for the end of september.(NDLR:but it is not yet
finished), but you know like me that in code it's hard to be on time.
But don't worry: the demo will be finished before the end of this year.
